Steps to be a Shadow Shopper

To join the people who get paid to shop first you have to understand what is involved and decide that it is something you would like to do.

We suggest that the first thing to do is to read the information on this website:   Why be a Shopper,   How it Works and the   FAQ . This should answer most of the questions you have and give you a good idea about that its all about.

If you decide that shadow shopping is something you would enjoy and you want to do, then you have to apply on line.

1. Click the 'Apply to be a Shopper' link at the side of any screen

2. You can choose your username, check our Contractor Agreement and give your contact details. We will then email your password to the email address you have given.

3. You can then login and access the Certification Course. You can do this at your own pace, whenever it suits you.

4. After you have done the Certification Course, you can take the Certification Test - whenever you feel you are ready.

5. When you are certified, you can put in your details so that we can match you up with the kind of jobs you want to do in your area.

6. Once you have done this, you will be a fully-fledged shadow shopper, and you will be able to access the Shopper Centre of this website where you will be able to access your assignments and lodge your reports.

7. In the Shopper Centre you can access shopper resources, and find out ways to increase your chances of getting assignments./ You can also access our directory of Australian mystery shopping companies.

8. Wait for jobs to arrive in your email InBox.

9. Have fun shopping!

It's that simple - and then you are on your way to get paid to shop!
