Step by Step Guide to becoming a Shadow Shopper mystery shopper

To be a Shadow Shopper and join the people who Get Paid To Shop, you have to understand what is involved and then decide that it is something you would like to do.

We suggest that the first thing to do is to read the information on this website, especially the FAQ. This should answer most of the questions you have and give you a good idea about what its all about.

Online Applications

If you decide that Shadow Shopping is something you would enjoy and you want to do, then you must apply on line. We only take online applications as we are a completely online business. You will then go through the following steps:

STEP 1

Click on the Apply Now box on the right of any screen

STEP 2

This wll take you to a Registration Screen where you will put in your name and contact details, and choose your username and password. (Make sure that you take a note of them)

STEP 3

Read the Contractor Agreement. It sets out the conditions under which you will so assignments for Shadow Shopper.

It's important that you read and understand it. When you do, click the I AGREE button to show your agreement with the terms and conditions.

STEP 4

An email confirming your registration will be sent to your email address. You will then be able to login to the website and access the Certification Course and the Certification Test.

The LOGIN area is on the top blue bar of any screen.

STEP 5

Go through the Certification Course at your own pace. You can start and stop whenever it suits you. It's important that you read it thoroughly and understand the concepts and techniques presented.

STEP 6

When you are ready the sit for the Certification Test. You will be notified of your results immediately you have completed the Test.

STEP 7

When you pass the Certification Test you will be asked to fill out an online Shopper Profile. This enables us to match you with assignments in your area.

STEP 8

Once you have done this you will be a fully-fledged Shadow Shopper and eligible for assignments.

You will be able to access the Secure Shopper Centre where you can review and accept jobs, communicate with Get Paid To Sop, and put in your reports.

In the Shopper Centre you can access shopper resources, and find out ways to increase your chances of getting assignments. You can also access our directory of Australian mystery shopping companies.

STEP 9

Wait for asignments to arrive on your email inbox (we also SMS so that you don't miss any) and have fun shopping!
